BSA525 Issue Seven: The Stories of Old

 Date: 19/03/2021

Today in our class we watched some videos to see how to improve our writing capabilities. Even though i already know how to this pretty well since I have done this exact class last year it will come in handy in the future so I managed to pick up some tips for the treatment. I then just write a base treatment that I can improve upon before turning it into a script, but I think its looking good so far.

Hunterborn

Will the son of Ullr, God of Hunting, become Hunted by the Dead

Opening Scene

As the title fades you see a forests undergrowth as you begin to hear the clopping of hooves, soon after

an elk races past which is then followed by a man who stops and fires an arrow right in front of us.

The arrow misses the elk and lands in a tree trunk as Ivar grunts and continues the chase.

Act One

After a few seconds of cutting between the elk and Ivar running while arrows fly, Ivar fires another

arrow and it hits the elk, where the elk moans out and falls to the ground. Ivar walks up to the elk and

pulls out a knife and kills his prey. As he is dressing the elk, he hears a low moan and a rustle in the

bushes. As he turns around he sees a figure, and calls out to the figure. The figure spins around and

lets out a howl after showing its grotesque maw.

Act Two

The Draugr luges out at Ivar as he grabs his bow to defend and blocks the Draugrs mouth as it goes

to bite him. Ivar pulls an arrow out of his quiver and stabs the Draugr in its side. It howls in pain and

leaps away. Ivar gets to his feet and knocks the arrow that is now covered in a black sludge and stares

down the draugr, which is now on all fours and moaning as the black liquid leads from its mouth and side.

The Draugr attacks again as Ivar shoots an arrow and embeds itself in its chest but swipes down, leaving

a large gash across Ivars face.
