Wow, we started another class today for week six of the first term, and so far I'm going alright. What we started the class with is going over the proposal/pitch assessment and then drafted up some ideas. The idea for my Pitch is going to be a 1min animated game cutscene but now I need to decide on what Idea I would like to go with. Currently I have two ideas I would be very keen on proposing which is as follows...
- UNDEATH
The game cutscene will be that of the beginning of the game featuring in a tavern and then in a street. The idea from this came about during lockdown in 2020 as I was trying to come up with some ideas for video games and I planned out the series. The overall summary is that you are a recently "possessed" necromancer and you fight alongside the elves again the lords of humanity, who are under rule of the opposing necromancer, the Shadow Monarch.
- HUNTERBORN
The game cutscene will be of a Viking hunter running out of a forest into a town and speaking to one of the guards, to which the guard blows his horn to signal a ring of a bell. Several men gather round the gate and set out soon after to find out what is happening in the forest.
I am quite happy with both ideas but I need to choose one for this assessment, which I will decide at a later date. What we continued to do in class was make a sort of mood board, so I just went with the Hunterborn idea for now.
